Team roping is a popular rodeo event where two riders work together to rope a steer. One rider, known as the header, ropes the steer's horns, while the other rider, called the heeler, ropes the steer's hind legs. The goal is to catch the steer as quickly as possible. It requires skill, coordination, and teamwork between the two riders to successfully complete the roping within the shortest time possible.

If cars crashing, motors revving and dirt flying gets your adrenaline pumping, then the Butte County Fair Destruction Derby is an event for you! With four different classes of carnage including the crowd favorite RV derby there is bound to be some Destruction! The derbies provide heart-pounding excitement. Mud will fly and cars will crash. This is a popular Butte County Fair event, so don’t miss out! There are still opportunities to participate as a driver or just come out to enjoy.
